Julian R. Felipe Elementary School celebrated the 41st National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week with the theme “Lokal na Pamahalaan: Kabalikat sa Pagtupad ng Karapatan ng mga Taong May Kapansanan” at JFES SPED Building It on July 22-26.
Dr. Roberto O. Doñes, JFES Principal, welcomed everyone to the 5-day event.
JFES SPED teachers Miss Arnalyn F. Ocson, Miss Joyce M. Aringo and Miss Jhonaira Shanen V. Ramos (substitute of Mrs. Daisy B. Bermudez) prepared a variety of activities for a meaningful celebration.
Day 1 highlighted the Festival of Talents while the second day focused on Food Fair and Parent Symposium with SPED Teachers.
Mrs. Elisa P. Zaragoza, Education Program Specialist I (Kinder/ SPED) witnessed the second day activity.
Meanwhile, sports Festival was the focal point on the third day.
Parent Symposium and Art Time were the points of interest on the fourth day where Mrs. Ma. Nieva M. Anacan, JFES ALS (Alternative Learning System) teacher was the speaker on this day.
The five-day activities capped with a closing program happened with the SPED pupils, parents and teachers from Ladislao Diwa Elementary School, Manuel Rojas Elementary School, Cavite National High School and Julian R. Felipe Elementary School in a joint session at LDES Multi-Purpose Hall.
