Gift giving of school supplies at Julian R. Felipe Elementary School started this June with Mrs. Mary Jane Basye from Sylmar, California, June 14.

Mrs. Basye is a graduate of Julian R. Felipe Elementary School batch ’71, who became a sponsor through the effort of her friend, Miss Merlinda Q. Abales.

The activity benefited seventy-two (72) JFES kids.

Mr. Marcus Lemuel, a five-year – old pre-schooler from San Diego, California, together with his parents who are active various outreach programs sponsored Project ST4r (School Tool 4r) Kids at JFES Covered Court on June 19.

Project ST4r (School Tool 4r) Kids is on its second year of gift giving of school supplies to JFES children.

Ms. Alice C. Mejorada was the coordinator of this Back to School Supplies Drive with fifty (50) recipients.

Another gift giving of school supplies occurred with Mr. Henry Dy from USA who shared the blessing with the assistance of the Dabarkads on June 21 giving around fifty (50) children receiving the donations which became a reality with Mrs. Cherry Green Parangat, a friend of Ms. Merlinda Q. Abales.

The next activity was with Sangley Point Eagles Club which donated school supplies with books for thirty-nine (39) SPED kids on June 25 in coordination with SPED teacher Miss Joyce M. Aringo at JFES Autism classrooms.

‘’Bigas para may Lakas,’’ a project with an anonymous sponsor provided sixty (65) sacks of rice for sixty-five (65) indigent kids from kinder to SPED autism made possible by Ms. Amelita A. Vales  on June 28 at JFES Multi- Purpose Hall.
