Now, on its second management operation bearing its new name C2PRIDE, the Schools Division of Cavite City bannered Program Gabay and Bayanihan in Cavite City Performance Review Implementation and Direction Enhancement (C2PRIDE), the division’s flagship program in the performance management review of programs and projects, September 9.
GABAY (Gabay at Alalay sa mga Punongguro at Dalubguro) of the Curriculum Implementation Division featured projects geared on providing quality service and instruction like Project MAPA (Mabisang Pagbasa), HELP (Harmonizing English Language Programs), MEAT and MEAL (Mathematics Enhancement Academy for Teachers and Learners), CALASAG (Criteria for Agham Leaders Action-Plan and School Assessment Guide), KKK (Kasaysayan Kilalanin at Kalingain), MAPEH is Fun, ASAP-K (Alay Ko Sa Iyo, Panahon Ko), GAP (Gabay at Alalay sa Pagpapakatao), TLE and DIWA (Developing Illustrators and Writers Ability).
BAYANIHAN, on the other hand, of the School Governance and Operations Division underlined programs on physical facilities, pagandahan ng paaralan at silid-aralan, adopt-a-school program, disaster risk reduction management, wellness program, school-based feeding, immunization, medical and dental services, alternative delivery mode, dropout reduction, Dropout Reduction Interventions using Various Effective Strategies (DRIVES), child mapping, 4Ps, student government, career guidance, Gawad Magiting, Cavite City Conference of Classroom-Based Action Researchers (C3CARES) and Cavite City Festival of Integrative Research for Students (C2FIRST).
Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Bernadette T. Luna highlighted the vital role of performance review in program implementation in the division and schools and assess the achievement level of the programs initiated by SDO.
“C2PRIDE, our unique review system version spells our commitment to improve our performances in the various projects and activities we had, and if these programs are being addressed in relation with our division’s goals,” she added.
Meanwhile, Celedonio B. Balderas, Jr., Schools Division Superintendent lauded the CID, SGOD and Admin personnel for harmonizing the initiated programs, projects and activities in the division and aligning its implementation with the OPCRF of SDS and ASDS, making it more responsive to the needs of the schools and the learners.
“This program implementation review and strategic planning we are holding entails your support and involvement. Its success implementation is always dependent on your collaboration and partnership with others in the SDO and schools,” Balderas said.
CID Chief Supervisor, Violeta L. Francisco led the presentation of various programs under Project GABAY, the umbrella program that aspires to capacitate EPSs, school principals, and department heads with enhanced coaching and mentoring techniques to support teachers while SGOD Chief Supervisor, Dr. Romeo S. Rosales shared the different undertakings SGOD personnel embarked on to achieve Ciudad de Cavite: Edukasyong Dekalidad, Serbisyong Dekalibre.
C2PRIDE aimed to update SDO personnel, school principals and department heads on new policies, guidelines, and issuances by the Division and Central Office, report accomplishments and milestones of the division and present program implementations and other special programs anchored in the Division Education Development Plan (DEDP) Strategic Directions.
